Rotating your tires every 10,000 miles is something that is very beneficial to the upkeep of your vehicle. What many people don’t understand it that driving conditions along with torque on your car puts a tremendous strain on your car’s tires. Before rotating your tires it is critical to know if your tires have staggered wheels. What this means is that your back and front wheels are different sizes, which means that you cannot change them from front to back. Here is a step by step guide to rotating your tires
Prepping: Make sure to park your car on level, paved surface. It is also best to do this on a day where there is no precipitation on the ground, as this could cause your car to slip. At this time you can loosen up all of the lug nuts on the tire but do not take them off.
Jacking up your car: Using you car jack, you can now jack your car up so all tires are easily removable. After getting to this point you can put your car down onto the jack stands and spin off the lug nuts completely.

and tighten all lug nuts to their recommended specification as stated in your
owner’s manual.
